The Lower Silesian Artistic Song Competition for amateur soloists is a recurring event aimed at popularising and promoting artistic music among children and young people from Lower Silesian music schools, primary schools and high schools. The competition draws on the tradition of soloist performance of songs and shapes appropriate attitudes towards artistic music, and has educational and upbringing values. It is one of the few competitions dedicated to amateur singers, which requires high vocal competence from the participants.

Participants will perform in three categories: 

Category I: 6-9 years old 

Category II: 10-13 years old

Category III: 14-19 years old. 

The auditions will be judged by a jury composed of staff from the Department of Music Education, Choral and Church Music
